Arma Reforger workshop

Add mods to an Arma Reforger server from the panel.

License required

The Arma Reforger mod manager needs the Arma Reforger Tools license add-on. Without this add-on the tab does not appear.

The Arma Reforger Workshop manager searches the official Workshop and adds mods to the configuration of your server. The server downloads each enabled mod at the next start.

Opening the manager

  1. Navigate to your Arma Reforger server.
  2. Open the Arma Reforger Workshop tab in the sidebar.

The tab appears when your license includes the add-on and an administrator turned the module on for the egg of the server.

The counter at the top right shows how many mods are enabled.

The manager reads the mod list live from the server. The node of that server must be connected. Without a connection the manager reports that the node is not connected.

Browsing the workshop

Type in the search box to find a mod by name. The manager searches as you type.

Each mod card shows:

ItemDescription
Preview imageThe Workshop image of the mod.
NameThe mod name.
AuthorThe creator of the mod.
SummaryA short description.
RatingThe community rating as a percentage, with the number of ratings.
SubscribersThe number of Workshop subscribers.
VersionThe mod version.
SizeThe download size.
Game versionThe Arma Reforger version that the mod targets.

The results run to more than one page. Use the arrow buttons below the list. Each page holds 16 results.

Enabling a mod

Click Enable on the mod card. The button then reads Enabled and the card gets a coloured border.

If the mod needs other mods, the manager enables those as well. A notice appears above the list, for example:

Auto-enabled 2 required dependencies: Foo, Bar

The notice clears itself after a few seconds.

Restart the server after you enable a mod. The server downloads the mod at the next start.

A server holds a maximum of 100 mods.

Viewing the enabled mods

Click Installed. The manager then shows the enabled mods only and turns off the search box. Click Installed again to go back to the Workshop.

Removing a mod

Click Enabled on the mod card. The mod leaves the configuration at once. There is no confirmation dialog.

Restart the server after you remove a mod.

How the manager loads mods

  • Load order follows the order in which you enable the mods. To change the order, disable the mods and enable them again in the order that you want.
  • Version is the one that the Workshop reports at the moment you enable the mod. Disable and enable a mod to pick up a newer version.

Requirements

  • The server must use an Arma Reforger egg with the module turned on.
  • Your license must include the Arma Reforger Tools add-on.
  • The node of the server must be connected.
