Credits ​

Credits are an account balance system that customers can use to pay for orders. When a customer has credits on their account, the balance is automatically applied at checkout before charging the payment gateway.

How Credits Work ​

Credits function as store credit denominated in your panel's configured currency. During checkout:

  1. The system checks the customer's credit balance.
  2. If the customer has enough credits to cover the full order, no payment gateway charge is made.
  3. If the customer has partial credits, the credits are applied first and the remaining balance is charged to the payment gateway.
  4. If the customer has no credits, the full amount is charged to the payment gateway.

Credits apply to both new orders and renewal invoices.

Enabling Credits ​

  1. Navigate to Admin > Billing > Settings.
  2. Toggle Credits to enabled.
  3. Click Save.

When credits are disabled, existing credit balances are preserved but not applied at checkout. Re-enabling credits makes those balances usable again.

Admin Credit Adjustments ​

Administrators can add or remove credits from any customer account:

  1. Navigate to Admin > Users and select the user.
  2. On the user detail page, locate the Credits section.
  3. Enter the adjustment amount:
    • A positive value adds credits to the account.
    • A negative value removes credits from the account.
  4. Optionally add a note describing the reason for the adjustment.
  5. Click Apply.

The adjustment takes effect immediately. The customer's updated balance is visible on their account.

Credits Management Page ​

Navigate to Admin > Billing > Credits for a centralized view of all credit activity across your panel:

  • Total credits outstanding - the sum of all customer credit balances
  • Recent adjustments - a log of recent credit additions and deductions
  • Customer balances - a searchable list of customers with credit balances

Use this page to audit credit usage and track adjustments made by your team.
